You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? Welcome back to Can I Vibe with y'all where the vibes are immaculate every time we hop up in here? Welcome back. We are in here in LA shooting some good stuff. If it's your first time listening, it's your boy Kaz. Yes, sir. And as always, we got some good people in the building. And we got Mr. Da Vinci in the building. Welcome, welcome, welcome to the show. Appreciate you guys. I'm start off from the top. Originally a Brooklyn man, correct? Yes, sir. Okay. So what would you say is like how did that inspire your come up being from Brooklyn, New York?
SPEAKER_03I feel like New Yorkers have a have a drive that no other state in America have. You know, so I had dad going for me. That was one battery on my back. And then my parents being foreigners was another battery on my back. So I feel like that definitely fueled me to having this mentality of like, yo, I could conquer the world.
SPEAKER_04And you are a Haitian background. Haitian, yes, sir. Okay. Shout out to my Zoos. Shout out to the Zoos. Sakbase. Yes, sir. We live by a lot of Haitians. We live by a lot of Zoos. We near Miami now. So it's Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04For sure. That's the whole community.
SPEAKER_03Sure, that's little Haiti for sure.
SPEAKER_04So we also have a Korean background. What's it like coming from, you know, parents, you know, typically they're a little bit harder on us. Um, so what was that like for you growing up?
SPEAKER_03Um, I thought it was normal. So like I didn't realize how my parents was like tweaking a little bit until I would hang out with my American friends. If I go to their house and they could just do regular shit, like putting their feet on a coffee table. They sit anywhere in the house, you know. Like we had sections where it was like the couch still had the plastic wrap over it. And like you cannot sit there. That was like only for guests. Uh so that's when I started realizing, like, in high school, I was like, damn, my parents were like tripping a little bit. It was a little wild. And when I went to college, I was like, okay, like that shit was like real rough. But I'm glad I didn't have that gentle parent and stuff. No offense to anybody who have that, but I feel like that breeds weak humans. And and I think life is mean, life is full of bullies, bills of bullies, all different random violations and shit you gotta deal with in life. To me, that's bullies. So if you don't I mean, you work with people that don't like you, you know what I'm saying? You you're gonna deal with real life regardless. So if your parents really shelter you, not shelter you, but that gentle stuff, like it's okay that everybody gets a participation trophy, I think that's gonna destroy your mind. And I didn't have that, and I'm so grateful for my parents for that.
SPEAKER_04I agree. Honestly, we have a lot of struggles. We sometimes growing up, you're like, man, I hate this. Like you've seen all the American kids doing whatever, but I I choose to be like this in any lifetime. I'm crazy. So, how did you get into acting?
SPEAKER_03How did I get into acting? Um I was doing music, I was doing music first, and then um I started like not really liking the music business that much. I was like, yo, this shit is low. I don't know what what other way to say it, but I was like, it just felt a lot more evil, I was like, honestly. You know what I'm saying? And I'll just leave it at that. I just like it just felt like it was it was now how how far did you go into it? I was like, you know, I was making records and like going to the studio, recording, and meeting with different ARs and managers and da da da da and working on certain things, but it was like the direction that I was being pushed towards, like I didn't want to really go that direction. And I was just like, bro, I don't really like this shit. And then I started, and I think I still love it, don't get me wrong, I still write, I still do all that good stuff, but I think the business aspect of it was kind of like pissing me off. And then when I started acting, I was like, yo, this just feels a lot better, it just feels a lot more fresh. And then that just like I started doing that. I got a meeting with the manager, and then like got an agent, and two weeks later I just started booking.
SPEAKER_04How old were you?
SPEAKER_03At the time, uh I was like 20.
SPEAKER_04Was acting something you kind of just stumbled upon, or was it like from a kid you knew you kind of want to dabble in this, you want to go this direction, or it was just like as a as a kid, like that was like one of my wild dreams, right?
SPEAKER_03I was just like, yo, bro, I would want to like be like Will Smith or something like that. You know what I'm saying? But like we would watch a fresh prince. Right. But no, actually, I never watched a fresh prince. Alright.
SPEAKER_04That's where most people were personally.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I never watched Fresh Prince. It was more like um I am legend, pursuit of happiness, hitch. Like that was I never watched a fresh prince. Still to this day, I don't know why. But like I remember I would like say that, you know, like for fun and stuff like that. And me and my brothers would be like, yo, we could probably really be like the Wayne brothers, because it was a lot of us. But it was one of those things that we weren't dead ass. But then as I got older, I was like, yo, what if I could like really do this? I think maybe we just gassed ourselves into thinking that this could happen, and it kind of happened for me. It became dead ass. Yeah, yeah, by the grace of God, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Listen, check it out. The king of RB is back with a brand new album, Mood 2, coming to you from Cash Money Records. Get ready for the vibes, the vocals, the love, the heartbreak, everything in between. Jockweet's mood to drops July 31st. Make sure you cop it, stream it, and turn it all the way up.
SPEAKER_02I don't get it. You and me, it's a minute. I can never be the manic in the minute for the minute in the foot, and I don't get it then. You and I mean it's a minute. I could never be a man I can.
SPEAKER_04You you you do uh like public speaking?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure, for sure. What for what? Just mental health advocate.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. And and that falls like everything falls under that.
SPEAKER_04Can we get more into that?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, for sure. Sure.
SPEAKER_04So you're an ambassador for NCRF and NAMI.
SPEAKER_03NAMI, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Talk about a little bit, like how long you've been doing it, um, you know, what your goals are.
SPEAKER_03So um I'm an ambassador for NAMI, which is the largest mental health organization in America, I believe, and then uh uh NCRF, which is a National College Resource Foundation founded by Dr. Sheresa Price. NCRS, that is um, they over like every year, they've been helping over hundreds and hundreds of thousands of kids uh from underserved communities go to college. And I definitely felt a moral obligation to like helping and being a part of something like that, considering, you know, where I come from. I come from, I come from the mud, man. And I was like, if I ever make it out, you know, I definitely want to help people in any way, shape, or form that I can. So that's that at a NAMI, which is you know, specifically mental health. I mean, the mental health crisis in America right now is is it's in it's insane. I mean, the the rate that we're getting checked in, like clinical depression from like 13 to 35. I mean, the suicide rates uh from like you got teenagers, you got kids that's just starting life, like running off themselves and things like that. So I've been seeing it, and I realized like a lot of people in the black community, we don't really understand what mental health is. Like I was doing an interview and someone was like, someone asked me, there was like, did they start? They was like, well, Da Vinci's a big mental health advocate, and they started asking someone else, like, so how's your mental health? And then this one dude, black, he was just like, um, well, I don't have mental health, and like I'm sorry for what DaVinci goes through and I hope everything goes good. And I was like, wait, time out, pause. I was like, if you don't have mental health, you're dead, buddy. You know what I'm saying? It's like saying I don't have physical health.
SPEAKER_02Exactly.
SPEAKER_03But you could just see like our community is like, damn, like we can't even compute what that even means. Mental health is just regulating your social, emotional, physiological well-being, just so when life gets hard, when the inevitable happens, which are problems, you're able to deal with it. But it's like when you're raising a child to not have mental fortitude, whether that be gentle parenting, whether that be, you know, promoting some negative, so much negativity in that child's environment to where now that child goes on. I can go on and on. No, exactly. That's what we're here for. Yeah, yeah, I don't know. Yeah, because I can really go on and on. I know this is like to the science.
SPEAKER_04How is it for you? And I I feel like I could relate to this a lot, because again, we come from Caribbean background. So um, coming from a Haitian background, I have a lot a lot of Haitian friends that I'm close with. How is that with you coming from a Haitian household and integrating mental health from that? Like, at what point did you kind of click for you like this is something that's serious, that's real? Because I don't know what you're gonna tell me, but I guarantee your parents probably didn't instill that in you.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, my parents have no clue. They like to them, I am just saying a new fancy American word.
SPEAKER_04You know, and but they still feel that way, and yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_03They don't really get it. Like it, and it's like, but I don't fault them because they were raised in a different generation. Like they were like, we need to meet the basic needs of your survival. That is food, water, shelter. Yeah, got that, that's everything. My job is done, and y'all go to school. You have a roof over your head, yeah, good. So, off of their backs and their blood, sweat, and tears, now we have the luxury to think on on a psychological level. But for such a long period of time in America, black people didn't even have that luxury.
SPEAKER_06Right.
SPEAKER_03We were busy being workhorses. So we like I we come from that. So, so I don't take it personal. I just look at them like with nothing but love and I just welcome them with open arms. But there's a lot of conversations I can't have. No, they're from Haiti.
SPEAKER_04Oh, wow, sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03No, they're off the boat, the salt water. Like right now, they're going crazy that Haiti lost. Like, them niggas is Haitian. Like, like they call me T blonde, like I'm white. I'm a little white boy. You speak Creole too? Yeah, I speak Creole floor. Okay, yeah, yeah, but I'm still a white boy to them. I talk about shit like mental health, they're like, this nigga soft.
SPEAKER_04Nah, but not that that's real because again, we we all kind of grew up with a tough skin, right? Um, especially coming from Haiti or Brooklyn or wherever. So um it's it is a bit of a pandemic now, um, and it's serious. And now we have so many distractions. Like you said, some kids start as early as like 13 and they're having mental health issues. Right. Like we have they have this in front of them now, so it's it's different.
SPEAKER_03Absolutely.
SPEAKER_04Have there been any roles that you've learned from, like kind of impacted your personal life?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I would say every role. Every role, like for sure. Like, I think any role that an artist plays, like, if you're really playing that character, it for sure impacts you. I would say every project that I played impacted me for sure. Cause I I put myself in a character position, like, dang, I wonder if I was really like this. And then yeah.
SPEAKER_04Do you have a specific role?
SPEAKER_03This firefighter role, actually. Um, that and this project is not out yet. So I don't really know how much I could talk about it. But um this role is probably the most intriguing so far, because I'd never really understood what the life of a firefighter is like. Right? Like I thought it was just like putting out fires for real, but now societies are so well built that there's not a lot of fires like that. So most firefighters, well, all firefighters now are like paramedics and EMTs. So they're going to like domestic violence calls, they're going to like mental health calls, they're going to like cardiac arrest. They're just like, if if you fall and you can't get up, like they're knocking on the door. They're like, yo, let's pick your ass. Like they're they're doing so many things outside.
SPEAKER_04So are they doing more of the job that police officers and EMTs might do?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, they're they're really they're EMTs for sure. They're for sure that. Like it's to the point that hospitals are so backed up, you know, most firefighters in America, to where it's like you're not just fighting fire anymore at all.
SPEAKER_04So have you ever had a role that affected your mental health?
SPEAKER_03I would say BMF.
SPEAKER_04How so?
SPEAKER_03Well, I mean, every every project did for sure, but I would say BMF probably made me a little more paranoid. Because it opened a can that like I like closed. You know, coming from where we come from, sometimes it's like, bro, um, sometimes I don't want to deal with that shit. Like, I don't I don't watch gangster shows. I don't watch no gangster show, I don't watch gangster movies, I don't really watch nothing like that. Cause I'm like, bro, it's like when you got brothers and cousins that got affected by that, and you see how it affects your life, I'm like, why am I gonna reopen something that just gonna, you know what I'm saying? Piss me off. But BMF, yeah, because I mean the attention that you'll get from outside, it's like all the all American, all the other projects, it's like this is happy go lucky football loving people, middle American white people, like, hey, that's but like BMF, it's like you get like niggas sizing you up, and really you think they're sizing you up, but they want to say what's up, they just don't know how to say hi and greet properly. So it's a real like yeah, yeah. So, so and it's just like sometimes they so like, and they'll be like, yo, I don't know how to say what up to this nigga, but I want to say what up and get it for a picture. But they just their ego, they they in this contemplating zone with themselves, and I'll be like, tell this thing to go, and they he just want a picture. But it looked crazy though, sometimes it's like like it's like yo, bro, it's 12 a.m. at night, like I'm doing something, you know what I'm saying? Or like some gangsters would come up to me and start telling me their hood stories and shit. I'm like, bro, you keep that to yourself. Like start telling me how they were selling drugs and how they worked with meat and tea. And then I'm like, yo, bro, bro, bro, bro.
SPEAKER_04Like so that that's just what they associate you as. Like they kind of almost like like we were talking about if you were making music before, they associate that like that's how you're living your life.
SPEAKER_03In the in a sense, but but no, it's more like it's more like they look at me like a therapist in a weird sense, like, okay, you did this character so well that like I could open up about my criminal activities. But they know me, Da Vinci, didn't like I'm not promoting that. So, like, as they're talking to me, then they'll like realize, like, oh you know what, yo, you're not even that nigga for real. Like, I mean, like, you know what I'm saying? So it's kind of one of those things to where they just feel comfortable because they like they they never want to therapy. So it's just like, yo, let me talk to this nigga that's playing this, and and it, and it's cool, but they don't they don't think that's me, but it just I guess I just allow I give them a space to just unload and I just be like, all right, bro.
SPEAKER_04Like, do you do you have the answers for them, or you just kind of like let them speak?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I be telling them how to avoid the cops and shit. I was like, look, if you're gonna move a bird, you gotta take this street. Nah, um, nah, I just be really listening, and I just be like, oh wow. I'm like, yo, that's crazy. Damn, that's tough. Oh, you made it out. Oh, you stirred 30. Once I get the third damn, that's crazy. Yeah, it's uh it's like that. I just given them now. They gonna know if they watched it. They're like, oh, that nigga's playing me.
SPEAKER_04Do you have a favorite role that you did?
SPEAKER_03I would probably say like I think all American. Only because like that was so that's just nostalgic. And it was it was so fun. Like I got to play football every day on set, you know? And I think I think that was for sure just and and I I guess it was a part during Hollywood, like when everything shut down, it was a pandemic, the world was ending. So I just it's so many memories that that's with that, that I think that's why it is. But honestly, it's really all of them. I'll tell you one that I hate. No, I'm playing. I can't say that. I can't say that.
SPEAKER_04You sure you sure? That'll that'll be the bonus the bonus content.
SPEAKER_03Right, right, right. After dark.
SPEAKER_04All right, we're gonna play a little game sponsored by the lovely ladies. This or that. All right, so it's very simple. We're just two categories, this or that. You're picking which one you could uh expand on it a little bit. Well, first one, we'll go this or that, fresh haircut or a fresh pair of kicks?
SPEAKER_03Haircut.
SPEAKER_04Why so? Because, well, you on camera too.
SPEAKER_03So uh, I mean, like, I feel like for sneakers, like now at this point in my life, I don't need a fresh pair of sneakers. Like, I could buy any shoe I want. You know what I'm saying? I would rather be well groomed at this point.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, space car gotta be right.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, you know what I'm saying? So I don't look homeless. Okay. I mean, I can't really say that in LA, because that isn't that a derogatory term now. Oh shit. We'll cut you out. We'll cut you out. I'll not homeless, um house, apartmentless, houseless.
SPEAKER_05No, it's something else.
SPEAKER_03Unkept.
SPEAKER_05What's the what's the politically correct term if you're homeless here?
unknownHomeless?
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Unhoused. Unhoused. Oh, I didn't even know it was a term for that. Yeah, you can't say homeless.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you can't you can't say homeless.
SPEAKER_04Oh, see, I'm glad I would have got canceled. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Nah, but y'all good. Y'all can say it though.
SPEAKER_04In Florida, yeah, maybe, not here. Yeah, it's it's different for us.
SPEAKER_03But like, that's good for y'all ratings, though, no. If y'all said that, people would talk about it. Because I feel like podcasters are like comedians in a sense. Like, y'all can say anything.
SPEAKER_04Are we should we test it out? No, I'm just playing.
SPEAKER_03And I'm sure Birdman and Slim wouldn't have a problem. They probably don't give a damn. They'll be like, nigga, what? Like, that's they said worse.
SPEAKER_04It is different here, though. It's like all right, while we're on the topic, would you go uh LA or New York?
SPEAKER_03LA or New York? Dang, that's a good one.
SPEAKER_04New York. For what reason?
SPEAKER_03Um, I think it's easier to find real people in New York City. Yeah. I could see that. No disrespect. I don't live here, so I heard of me. Not anybody who's watching us. No, no disrespect.
SPEAKER_04Don't get canceled by electricity. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, man, I'm in Georgia. I'm good. Right, right. Let's go uh vacation with friends or a solo trip? Vacation with friends. Okay. I was gonna ask you, but I think I know your answer.
SPEAKER_05Let's go vacation or friends.
SPEAKER_03Is it vacation?
SPEAKER_05Vacation. Vacation of friends?
SPEAKER_03No, vacation, vacation and vacation with friends, right?
SPEAKER_05Vacation with friends.
SPEAKER_03Okay, like boot up. Oh, a vacation or vacation with friends. Like they're couples.
SPEAKER_05Sure, there you go. Huh? Vacation or brocation? Boys' trip. Dang, I guess that depicts.
SPEAKER_03I really think that depends. It depends on how I'm feeling.
unknownUh okay.
SPEAKER_03Like, yeah, that that really does. I think that's 50-50.
SPEAKER_04I agree. I agree. Because sometimes, like, you want that intimacy, but other times you'll be like, you know, I see my boys.
SPEAKER_03Nah, exactly, exactly. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Give me the boy. Every time.
SPEAKER_03Every time. We can go wherever. Oh, he's on some freaky time. Hold on, cuz I I mean you just want to chill with the homies all day. Damn, I feel sorry for her. That is crazy. Nigga told on this so wow. He didn't even want to play at all.
SPEAKER_05All my homies live on different parts of the country. We can only link every now and then.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, that's even worse. All right. Would you rather have your old tweets exposed or your old DMs?
SPEAKER_03Tweets, tweets for sure.
SPEAKER_04That's the answer. Yeah, I'm going.
SPEAKER_03I feel like I don't think I ever tweeted nothing crazy. I mean, I've never DM anything crazy too. Because nowadays it's like you just never know.
SPEAKER_04But I feel like I'm getting canceled either way. Either way, I'm sure. What's the hill that you're willing to die on?
SPEAKER_03Dang, yo, they're all, bro, they're all deep.
SPEAKER_04You can start deep as you want.
SPEAKER_03A hill that I'm willing to die on. Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn. Um I think, I mean, every woman should, if you marry, I think you should have your man's last name.
SPEAKER_04Oh, that's we got some we got some ladies in here.
SPEAKER_03I would say that for sure.
SPEAKER_05I like that.
SPEAKER_04I agree with it, because then if you don't, it's kind of like when I see the double last name, it's kind of confusing.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_04But someone I haven't met many people that are like that, but I have, I don't know. There's a woman that we're. She definitely got something. No, yeah, you feel a way about that. No, actually, both. Oh, here we go. Here we go. You Jamaican.
SPEAKER_03So now y'all.
unknownHe's Haitian.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so we neighbors. Oh, yeah. Well, like we heard of the next one.
SPEAKER_04We're gonna debunk this myth right now where they say uh Haitian men tend to have many families.
SPEAKER_03Many families?
SPEAKER_04I'm sure you've heard that. Like multiple wives.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I feel like that's that's like that's man, period, though. I don't know why. We were talking about that. I don't know why Haitians get the like I feel that's that's everyone.
SPEAKER_04It might be that that island.
SPEAKER_03Baby mama culture in America, like what? Like we're like America is the flagship of like, like what celebrity you know that don't have like 30 baby mamas? I feel like that's every man though. I feel like that was that was me answering the question.
SPEAKER_04Every man except us.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I feel like, but but I also, also, also, I don't think, I don't okay. I don't think if a person chose to have multiple wives, I don't think there's nothing wrong with that. Like Neo or whatever, like what is it like? I don't think there's nothing wrong with that. He's open about it, Atoms. Yeah, yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_04So do you separate the artist from the art, like a situation like that versus their music?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, especially Neo situation, hell yeah. Like, I mean, like, I agree with you. Yeah, yeah, that's like, and like when I'm listening to the songs, if I'm like in the house and I'm cleaning and I'm listening to like what's that one Neo song? I mean, he's that nigga with him. I can't even think of it right now. But let's say So Sick, So Sick A Love Song, right?
SPEAKER_04So sick.
SPEAKER_03Right. Do do do like and I'm like clean the house, I'm not thinking about his personal life. I'm zoning out. Like if he have like 30 felonies, right? Like, I that's not why I put the song on.
SPEAKER_04Now, would you say women listen to music on a more emotional level?
SPEAKER_03I think if the artists have done something to woman that triggers something, I think the woman ain't gonna want to listen out.
SPEAKER_05So is there I I'm I'm with you on the separating the artist from the person. Is there any limit that or like threshold that you're like, yo?
SPEAKER_04This man just did too much that like I can't listen to his music no more.
SPEAKER_05I'm sure you can think of a time.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, no, for sure.
SPEAKER_04I'm getting told to ask this question.
SPEAKER_03No, no, no, for sure. Like, I think I think if it's one of some like he went on an interview and he was like, yo, when I made this album, I was like, I don't know, with Lucifer, and we were like, let's make music to da da da album. Oh hell no.
SPEAKER_04What if they peed on somebody? Here we go.
SPEAKER_03Well, I think I was too young to be aware of that and uh that story. So when I hear that story that you're talking about, I don't really it's almost like it's almost like it no like people went through serious stuff and I get that, but I never really did the research on that. Like I never watched any of the documentaries, I never watched anything. So all I really know him for is a couple songs.
SPEAKER_04No matter what happened, I can't get those lyrics and those those beats out of my head. Do you have a guilty pleasure?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, for sure. Um I ain't gonna lie, like sometimes we would sit down in the crib and like someone would put on Pop the Balloon and I'll watch that shit. And I'm not gonna lie. At first I was just like, what is going on? But that shit is funny. I respect that. I'm not gonna lie, like Pop the Balloon is probably it. Oh, that's a good good. I've never watched a reality show before in my life, but just seeing what's out there in the world, like men and women are cooked.
SPEAKER_04Oh man. First of all, I start with the intro.
SPEAKER_03I'm like, oh letter is funny as hell.
SPEAKER_04I didn't expect you to say that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, honestly, that that's why I was laughing. I was like, yo, people's not gonna believe it.
SPEAKER_04I kind of want to go back. I haven't seen all of them, but I've seen all of them too now. Yeah, I'm not locked in like that, but I've seen a few.
SPEAKER_03I'm like, yeah, I've seen I've seen a few, like a handful.
SPEAKER_04It's a funny world, and it is real life, too.
SPEAKER_03Exactly. And and like, yeah, it and it's it's kind of sad too, though. Like sometimes I'll be watching stuff, I'm like, damn, people really think like this.
SPEAKER_04This is how big it is now.
SPEAKER_03It's like crazy.
SPEAKER_04Uh anything you want to share, promote?
SPEAKER_03Um, I do want to know more about the Neo thing.
SPEAKER_04I would I would say Should we hand you a mic? That mic work? I would I would say that work?
unknownI'm a producer.
SPEAKER_04I am not the same. No, now you now you don't want to the producer.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, I just and I want to hear what you think about the last name thing. I guess crazy. I don't even want to promote anything. I just really want to like I just want to see what they think about. Yeah, no, facts.
SPEAKER_00Personally, I think um everyone's out of their minds. I think social media has fucked up everything, and everyone thinks they have all these options that they don't. So, like we weren't supposed to be um exposed to this many people in our lives at all as human beings, and it started and we all witnessed it happen, and it's weird. Um everyone's faking it because everyone feels like they have something to prove because everything is very performative and it's not real. So, like, I I have faith on it's just someone I meet in person versus I've seen people um meet online or like Instagram or Hinge, and sure, like that's cool, but like it's just way harder because everyone values social media versus interactions in person more. That's what I'll say.
SPEAKER_03So you so you feel like the biggest thing is that men because they have so many options.
SPEAKER_00I think women too though.
SPEAKER_03I I I but I think we have like way more options though.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_03Like real potential candidates. I feel like I think it depends on the type of man too. Yeah, but I but I feel like I feel like there's more women than men. There's more belly better quality women than men. So you guys have like six niggas you I can choose from. We have a million women that we can choose from.
SPEAKER_04I agree with that.
SPEAKER_03And counting.
SPEAKER_04I also feel like we're we are not us, but men as a whore, not as picky. We tend to be a little easy. Like you said, though, going back to your earlier point when we first started, I feel like a lot of weak men were raised in this past generation, and it's showing, and it goes into your point, Maya, about social media and getting exposed to all these different people and all these different women. It's like you add that with a weak foundation, a weak household, a weak upbringing. A lot of people grew up without fathers in the household, without father figures in the household. We're consuming this bullshit and this bullshit here. And then on top of that, you think you have a million options to all these different women, and it's like no fault to the women, but they're perceiving, they're they're they're showing this image online that's not real, and it's like a weak man's gonna fall for any of that. Like you followed by lust by oh, she's got a big ass, and she's got this, and she's got that, and it's just like like you said, to your point, I I just think the the the pool of men is just very weak for women. Yeah, just watch Pop the Balloon for real.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no, that that that sucks. So you feel like there's like no, none, nothing left for you guys.
SPEAKER_00I wouldn't say nothing because you know, everything works out the way it's supposed to, but like it's just not um not giving for your money. It's not like just like a fun exercise.
SPEAKER_03So, so like, so like so and people that's deciding to like yo, you know what? Let's just the three of us date this one man, like Neo. No, no, I'm just saying though, like you never like do you feel like they they're on to something maybe? Because the amount of women versus men that I'm gonna No no no I don't know I'm just gonna be the camera No, not at all. No, no, no, no, I'm not, I'm not, but I'm just like I'm just asking this because I think this is something to really like think about, kind of, no?
SPEAKER_00It's everyone's preference. Like, if that's what they want to do, then like, yeah, they're on to that if they like that, or just stay single. But if they want to do that, then they can, you know what I'm saying? Facts, facts, so it's like they're like making like it's actually probably easier for them if that's something they want to do. It's pretty easy. Of course, a man would love to have uh three girlfriends if he can afford it. I would not love to have it.
SPEAKER_03That's a lot of work. I would not love to have that. To answer your question, no, I would not want to have that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, say that, say that. But give it a preference. I wasn't part of this. My voice is really gone. Say it again, say again. Y'all saying y'all don't want three girlfriends, but y'all do it anyway behind closed doors. You might as well put it in the open meeting.
SPEAKER_03There's levels to it. Nah, bro, you're preaching right now, bro. That's a real bro, that's a real butt with you.
SPEAKER_01I'm from huh?
SPEAKER_03You from Brooklyn?
SPEAKER_01No, I'm from Jersey, but I lived in Brooklyn.
SPEAKER_03Jersey? Okay, yeah, yeah. So you're close enough. See, that's a rumor right there, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So they doing it right now. I don't think he's wrong because you're open about it. And they're all in agreement. I'd rather a man be like, yo, I'm I'm dating two other people. And be like, okay, you're either a dub or I'm gonna join. That's what they did.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna be real with you. I don't think that men, even like habitual cheaters, I don't think that they truly want three girlfriends. I don't think the majority of men, I think a lot of men are led by lust and like what they see in social media, and you have a million girls on Instagram that you can go, oh, this girl got this, and the girl you met and fell in love with might not be the girl with the fattest ass or the nicest face. And you just see, okay, let me go cheat or let me hop on hinge or let me hop on this side and just go meet up with this girl. Because men be in a relationship that most men truly, I don't know, maybe maybe we're in the minority. I think that most men truly value like a family, like having a partner building something.
SPEAKER_01Like most men really go like that? For sure. The men I know and the men that I'm very playing. My love language physical touch. What's your love language if they don't want to be like? Quality time. What's your love? That's interesting. What's your love language on the situation?
SPEAKER_03Um what are the options?
SPEAKER_01Quality touch, physical touch, access service, gifts, and I'm missing one.
SPEAKER_04And words of affirmation.
SPEAKER_01Words of affirmation.
SPEAKER_03I'll probably say access services and like no, no, like physical. I mean, I don't know. All of them.
SPEAKER_06What do you mean by that?
SPEAKER_05Like, if I'm with my partner. If I'm like, he's really hanging himself.
SPEAKER_03Niggas wild.
SPEAKER_04If I'm with my partner, like we gotta be touching. Like, like I have to touch you. Like, I don't care if you're right here, like but you touch one person at a time. Yes, bro. But I know, like, I know men that struggle with lust and struggle with like needing, and I feel like as men, we're naturally like hunters. We naturally like want to go out there and kill, and that's just we've been so like we grew up with our father in our lives. Like, we grew up like that's like how many girls can you get? Like, yo, this girl wants you, the girl. Like, you've been taught from a young age, like what it's just a number. What can you kill? Eat what you kill. And it's like, so I feel like a lot of men, and you add the social media aspect into that, it's like there's a lot of stuff to look at, a lot of eye candy. How many can I kill? Yeah, social media fucked it. The the fucking porn addiction in this country is crazy. Like, I think that's lust. I don't think men truly want, oh, I want three different wives. I want three different who has the mental capacity to do with three women at one time. Let's be for real.
SPEAKER_03I mean, people been living that way way longer than they've been the monogamous. Like, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_04That must be.
SPEAKER_03This is before Haiti was even a country. Like, I'm talking like way before.
SPEAKER_04I do think there was a lot of a lot of like monogamy is relatively new.
SPEAKER_03Correct. Like humanity. You know what I'm saying? That's why like America pushing this, like, niggas in America aren't monogamous. Like, just because you can't marry multiple women and that's illegal, but it should be illegal to have multiple baby mamas too. But that's not the case. You know what I'm saying? So, like, the country, the country is capped. It's like it's not it's not really monogamous. And as she was saying, like, I mean, I'm not gonna let me chill before people think I'm gonna be. I'm just saying, like, it's just like when I think, I think what what you were saying is from a, and I don't mean this like a uh a disrespectful way, I think it's from a vacuum. Because by and large, if you look at the history of humanity, they've been polygamous.
SPEAKER_05Correct.
SPEAKER_03So to say like psychologically, like no man would want that, it's kind of like is your girl listening right now? That's what you're saying is. No, I'm like, I'm gonna say whatever I want. I'm gonna say that. You know, and and it's like because because I just don't think that's like that's why I mean people were just cheating and wilding left and right.
SPEAKER_05So if it was socially acceptable, would you be open to multiple women at one time?
SPEAKER_04Because like you said, that's it. So I think it's because I personally wouldn't want that. Even if I could have it, I wouldn't want that. It depends on the man, it depends on preference. No, that's what I'm saying, your personal preference.
SPEAKER_03I don't know. I I it just it it it depends. But but and I also don't think though, one thing as well, like when people talk about polygamy, it's not this is my girlfriend, this is my girlfriend, this is my girlfriend. It's like one person is like romantic. It's an institutional marriage, right? So someone could just be married into the family and it has nothing to do with sex, you just make the greatest pancakes. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Or this person's a family accountant, and it's like a it's like a protection thing that this person is protected under the umbrella of like the family, the bloodline. So it's not necessarily like from this like oh, having sex, humping perspective that most people think it is, you know what I'm saying? I mean, don't get me wrong, some people wild out and just do anything, but I don't think it's like from that. Like I've I've studied this in school, so it's like, and I've learned like I'm like, oh shit, it's not what we think it is. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, even though some people, obviously that's the case, some people have islands and they wild out, but I just don't think, like, for men being I don't know.
SPEAKER_04I know I think the same, because I think, like, for example, women could be like, I want this man for money, I want this man for dick, I want this man for comfort and good conversations.
SPEAKER_03Exactly, they got a whole roster and they not fucking all of them, they fucking just one.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like, I wouldn't want three different women I'm fucking at the same time. Cause but it might be like, all right, this woman, like, she's foot really fun to go on dates with. Right. Or this one is your secretary. Exactly.
SPEAKER_03Like, yeah.
SPEAKER_04So I mean, I get it. I mean, personally, I can't do that just because it's too much for me, but I see why people do that. Because I think we we think it's just you know, sexual, but I mean Is it something you would be you would be interested?
SPEAKER_05Something you would do if you went back to it.
SPEAKER_03No, I mean, no, I mean, I don't I don't know. I would have to talk to like like my shorty, like whoever my shorty is at the time, if it becomes legalized, then I'll be like, yo, what you think? Because I don't think you should do it unless like everybody's on, you know, gang. Because then if you're doing it and without organizing, you're just gonna church.
SPEAKER_04Especially for a man, it depends like kind of where you are. Because, you know, as a man, like you gotta have the finances too if you balance in three to four different women. Facts. So you can't be a broke boy out here, but oh yeah, I'm just gonna have four.
SPEAKER_03And they still doing it.
SPEAKER_04They doing it.
SPEAKER_03I know, I know, and they still doing it on a sixty thousand dollar salary, like it's crazy. No disrespect, no disrespect. But I know I know people that are.
SPEAKER_04They doing it on 20.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I know the nigga with no job.
SPEAKER_04Like, no facts. It's wow. It sounds like she's gonna have some stuff to say.
SPEAKER_03No, she got a lot to say. I really want to hear what you got to say right now. Like, you got something to say.
SPEAKER_04All right. Uh, I'll ask you again if you want to share, promote anything.
SPEAKER_03Um, nah, I'm I'm good, man. I'm I'm chilling. Life is good, God is good. I would just tell everybody keep God first.
SPEAKER_04Amen.
SPEAKER_03Read, read your Bible, educate yourself, and just just think of yourself less. Learn about something.
